The Code Style site log subsection is a guide to the numerous technical changes to the Code Style Web site, and gives details of when, why and how specific features were added.

Site log, December 2003: Upgraded the Code Style development environment to Java 1.3.1 and debugged the exception handling for the abstract ParseServlet.
Site log, November 2003: A quiet month, mainly preparing new development plans offline. Minimal updates to the site.
Site log, October 2003: Preparation of a new article on markup validation with NSGMLS.
Site log, September 2003: Applied a broad range of Java source code standardisations using Check Style and updated the Code Style media monitor test case results for Opera 6.01 and 7.11 and Netscape 7.1 for Windows.
Site log, August 2003: Some extensive re-factoring of the Code Style Java package and source formatting standardisation. Started development of a general purpose caching component.
Site log, July 2003: Added a range of new answers to the site FAQ plus minor housekeeping changes.
Site log, June 2003: Completion of the ParseRSS servlet and XSLT with broad scale enhancements to the site metadata to launch the new service.
Site log, May 2003: Conducted a Java package dependency review and refactored many classes. Created a new ParseRSS servlet and XSLT to convert XHTML to RSS.
Site log, April 2003: Several new articles including a site subject vocabulary to support the implementation of the JAXP ParseRDF servlet for processing site metadata to Resource Description Framework format.
Site log, March 2003: Completed the first release version Code Style Java project with a range of mock servlet objects for unit testing.
Site log, February 2003: Finalised many of the new Code Style Java package classes and prepared unit tests to verify prior to a full update.
Site log, January 2003: Developed and implemented a new DocumentTemplate hierarchy for servlet presentation, optimised the codestyle_fonts database and introduced first unit tests for Java classes.
